Note: Unlacquered brass is designed to patinate. This natural aging is not a defect, but a celebrated hallmark of authenticity.
The valve is not included. This is a complete trim set: angled arm, 6 inch shower head, handheld sprayer, brass hose, wall bracket, and all washers and gaskets. You add one standard 2-outlet diverter rough-in valve, which your plumber installs inside the wall before tiling.
Rough-in valves are a plumbing commodity, sold by every local supplier, and they stay hidden behind the wall. Buying it locally means you get the correct pressure rating and certification for your country, and any future service part is available from your own plumber instead of shipped from Morocco.
Not sure which valve to order? Email [email protected] with a photo of your wall or your plumber's notes and we will tell you exactly what to ask for.
Any qualified plumber can install it. There is nothing proprietary in this system. The rough-in valve is fitted and pressure-tested while the wall is open, the wall is closed and tiled, then our brass trim, arm, head, bracket, and handheld mount on top.
The one thing to get right is valve depth. Your plumber sets the valve so the finished tile sits inside the marked depth range. Once that is correct, the trim fits flush with no gap.
Yes. We ship every order with the correct connection standard for your delivery address, so US, UK, and European customers all receive fittings that match local supply.
If your project uses a different standard, or you are retrofitting to an existing valve with an unusual thread, tell us before you order and we will include the correct adapter at no extra charge.
It arrives polished and bright, then darkens. Unlacquered brass has no protective coating, so it reacts with air, water, and skin contact. Over the first weeks you will see warm honey tones deepen, then softer browns settle into the areas you touch least. This is patina, and it is why unlacquered brass is specified in high-end bathrooms.
If you want it bright again, polish it with any brass cream and it returns to a near-new finish. You control the look permanently: polish often for shine, leave it alone for depth. A lacquered finish gives you neither choice, because once the coating wears it blisters unevenly and cannot be restored.
Patina is normal ageing and is not treated as a warranty defect.
Warm water and a soft cloth, dried after use. That is the whole routine for daily care.
Avoid: bleach, ammonia, limescale removers, abrasive pads, and acidic bathroom sprays. These strip brass unevenly and leave permanent light patches.
For hard water areas: wipe the shower head face dry occasionally so mineral spots do not build on the spray holes. Solid brass does not corrode through like plated fixtures, where mineral attack lifts the plating and exposes the base metal underneath.
Every unit is high-pressure tested before it leaves the workshop, and the solid brass waterway handles mains pressure without stress.
Performance at the head is set by your home supply and your chosen rough-in valve, not by the trim. If you are on a low-pressure gravity system, ask your plumber to confirm your available pressure and specify the valve accordingly, or email us your figures and we will tell you what to expect before you order.
Yes. We machine to order, so the standard sizes are a starting point. The system ships with an 8.5 inch arm reach, a 6 inch head face, a 7.8 inch handheld, and a matching brass hose.
We regularly adjust shower head diameter, with 8 inch and 10 inch being common requests, as well as arm length for high ceilings or deep walls, and hose length. Most changes carry a small fee. Message us before ordering so we build it into your production run instead of remaking it.
Yes, and ordering together is the right way to do it. Every piece comes from the same workshop in the same unlacquered brass, so items made in the same batch start their patina at the same point and age together.
If you add pieces a year later they will begin bright while your existing fixtures have already darkened. They do catch up, but it takes time. Tell us your full project list and we will coordinate production.
Each system is machined to order, not pulled from a shelf. Production is followed by express courier shipping with tracking, and delivery is free.
Current production and transit times for your country are shown at checkout before you pay. If you are working to a fixed trade or renovation date, email us the date first and we will confirm in writing whether we can meet it.
Return it unused in its original packaging within 30 days for a refund. Because installation is permanent, we would rather you checked fit before the plumber starts, so unpack and compare against your rough-in valve on day one.
Beyond that, a 5-year warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Visual defects should be reported within 15 days of delivery with photos and your order number, sent to [email protected].
Yes. 100% solid brass, no zinc core, no plating, no coating. Plated fixtures use a cheap base metal under a thin decorative layer, which is why they eventually flake and cannot be repaired.
Solid brass has no layer to fail. Scratches polish out, the colour goes all the way through, and the fixture outlives the bathroom it is installed in. That is also why this system weighs noticeably more than a comparable plated one.
Yes, and it is one of our most common uses. Unlacquered brass is well suited to outdoors because there is no coating to blister in sun or salt air, and it develops a deeper patina faster than it would indoors.
In coastal or pool environments, rinse with fresh water occasionally to clear salt and chlorine residue. Tell us it is for an outdoor installation and we will advise on arm length and bracket placement for exposed walls.
Send us your wall measurements, your valve details, or a photo of your bathroom. We will tell you honestly whether this system is right for your project before you spend anything.
